Our Beginnings
Profile Laser was founded on a concept created at Fouch Electric Manufacturing Company, where they used a laser cutting machine for precision fabrication needs. Fouch created Profile Laser in 2011 as an offshoot of their company to offer laser cutting and engraving services to a broader range of customers.

Profile Laser Expands
In 2014, Profile Laser expanded to become a full-time laser-cutting and engraving center with dedicated production, sales, and distribution functions. Initially, the company served primarily architectural designers, artists, fabrication companies, and manufacturers.
At this time, Profile Laser expanded its lineup of equipment from its original Trumpf 1030 C02-1000-watt laser to add two new CNC Trumpf fiber lasers (3000 and 4000 watts) and other pre-productions and post-production units to perform shearing, surface treatment, and forming.

That's exactly what the clients and employees experienced when Roy Manufacturing purchased Profile Laser in 2021. Roy Manufacturing is a well-established metals and materials fabrication and perforation company located in Portland, Oregon. Together, the combined company is able to offer its clients complementary services–from custom perforated stainless steel panels to precision-cut copper component parts.
